92 years apart and Smiles!

This week Sadie traveled 4.5 hours South of Portland to Medford to visit her Great-Grandparents for the first time. She did great and slept the whole way there and back. Great Grandma and Grandpa were so happy to meet her and she was the hit of their retirement place. Everyone wanted to meet the little baby! It was fun to have 4 generations of woman from my family all together!

Sadie and Great Grandpa Lewis - they are 92 1/2 years apart!

Tummy time!

Sadie really started smiling this week. We think she has been smiling for a couple of weeks now but it was hard to say for sure. And of course she still won't really do it on demand or anything. So this morning I was super happy and surprised to catch a few on camera!

Along with our girl's fun smiles has come some fussiness the past two nights. Tonight we thought we'd try the swing even though she hasn't really liked it in the past. She was pretty mesmerized for a while. Unfortunately that only lasted a few minutes. I guess we'll have to try it again when she is happier!

zoned out baby!

I'm one month old!

Sadie turned one month today! She weighs 8 pounds and 14 ounces.

Sadie played with her friend Evie today while her Mom and friend Megan got pedicures. The Dads played with the babies too. The babies did tummy time together for a while and then both took naps. What a life!

Sadie had her first bath last Saturday after her belly button "grossness" finally fell off. She didn't like it too much but we think that's because she was a little bit hungry!
